Short dance, at least the Gators weren’t the first team eliminated, thank you Notre Dame.
What do you want Gator basketball fans? We still have 2 titles in the past 5 seasons. Gators are 12-1 in the tourney their past 13 games and that was a 2-OT loss. Not cheering you up yet?
Here are some hard facts: Florida had 2 chances to win the game, one at the end of regulation and the second at the end of overtime with just a pathetic attempt, i guess you could call that a shot?! Dan Werner looked like he was in better position for the block, guess we should have informed him he was on offense.
In honor of our Gator Boys going back to the dance, here is a former Gator Great dancing.. (Not Erin Andrews)
Horford watches that hat go from beginning of toss to the very end, like he’s watching a grenade scatter into a crowd (not sure why that is funny but it is)
Lastly, how uncomfortable does Billy D look? LOL
Thank you CBS and YouTube!
I’m 1-0 on predictions and by 1-0 I mean that I’ve correctly missed my prediction 100% (How’s that for spin?)
Gators play BYU Thursday at 10:20am local time (meaning they could be first team out if they don’t show up)
Meaningless Stat: Florida has a current 12-game winning streak in the tournament. Stat isn’t meaningless especially with back to back Natty Titles but meaningless in regards to this season. Not unless Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Corey Brewer and Taurean Green coming walking through the coliseum door come Thursday morning.
Here’s a meaningful stat: Florida shoots 20% from the three point range (258th worst) BYU shoots 42% from three point range for third-best in the country. Florida better get busy on the perimeter. By busy I mean contesting long range shots behind the arc 🙂
