We recently packed the entire family up from Chicago and moved the tribe cross-country to relocate to New Jersey. We like to rent first to get to know the area before buying our next house…. Well the rental market is very tough in and around Princeton and since it’s the middle of the school year for regular schools and the University we didn’t have a lot of options. Throw in the fact that we have two dogs (Renter’s dream) we pretty much had to settle on anything we could find… Hence this post. I just want to give you a glimpse of some of the outstanding features that come with renting a place in Jersey.
No detail left unnoticed, check out the missing light bulbs. To give you the full Jersey effect. This place is MOVE IN READY!
I think they were trying to do a sponge pattern technique on the wall but somewhere in the process THEY FAILED MISERABLY. It also appears that animals or people or both were in fact hurt while “painting” the bathroom. I’ve already had one guest tell me they were troubled with the walls so much and almost couldn’t even pee. This is the bathroom on the main floor that all guests use.
The Psycho Ward (aka guest bedroom)
Notice the yellow walls, that somehow don’t compliment the pink shag pile carpet. By the way this carpet appears pretty new. Which is strangely odd since they thought pink was a good choice to go with bright yellow and red walls. It should also be noted that neither wall was primed nor did they get more than one coat, if that.
